Brightway Centrifuge Structure


1. Structure
This decanter centrifuge consists of unit assembly of revolving half, power gear mechanism, overload unharness system, base and casing, feed tube, electrical system, etc.
Graph one shows external dimensions of the most machine while Graph five illustrates the exploded drawing of the unit.
1.1 Unit assembly of revolving half
The rotating assembly consists of such parts as bowl,  conveyor, gearbox, etc., and that is fastened horizontally on the bottom through 2 pillow blocks. The bowl may be a column - cone structure and there ar six adjustable dams with a pool depth on the large finish semi-shaft of the bowl. Inner ribs ar welded on the axis of inner columnar surface and inner conic surface. The unit of the screw conveyor is especially welded together with core pipes, accelerators, volute flight, etc. and that is placed coaxially within the bowl by the bearings on the semi-shafts of 2 finish of it. The spline housing of the large finish is connected with case by spline shaft. The screw conveyor is double-ended, left rotating, whose conveyance face is bead welded with wear-resisting laborious alloy layer.

1.2 Power transmission and overload unharness system
1.2.1 Power transmission
The main power transmission drives the bowl to rotate by motor and hydro-coupling put in on the axis of it, through belts and pulleys. the rear power transmission drives the input shaft of case to rotate by motor and machine, through reducer and therefore the machine of case and thru overload unharness.
1.2.2 Over load unharness
This machine adopts a double protection live of mechanism-electric appliance, embody hydro-coupling, mechanic overload unharness.
1.3 Base and casing
Consist of vessel assembly, base, vibration dampers, and transport frame.
1.4 Assembly of feed tube
The assembly of feed tube involves that of feed tube and improvement tube. The improvement tubes is employed for flushing the centrifuge before shuting down.
1.5 electrical system
Electric system includes management cupboard, limit switch and corresponding cables.

BW Decanter Centrifuge Working Principle and Function

Decanter centrifuge is the important phase cleaning equipment in a complete solids control system to separate fine solids. It is the most high technology products among all solids control equipments.

Centrifuge Working Principle
A centrifuge works on the principle of accelerated settling. By imparting addition “G” forces to the content of a centrifuge, solids (in a solids laden fluid) will settle much quicker. To understand how a decanting centrifuge works after desilter , first look at a simple sedimentation vessel.
Solids in this fluid will settle to the bottom of the vessel over a period of time. One way to speed the process of settling is to reduce the height of the vessel so the solids do not have as far to drop. If a specific volume is required, the vessels dimensions can be lengthened or widened . Depending on the rheological properties of the fluid and the size and density of the solids, settling time can still prove quite slow. 
Centrifuge Functions
A decanting centrifuge consists of a conical, horizontal steel bowl that rotates at high speed using a double screw type conveyor. The conveyor rotates in the same direction as the outer bowl but at a slightly slower speed. 
Functions including:
1) De-water hydrocyclone underflow;
2) Remove drilled solids from the active mud system
3) Control rheological properties by removing colloidal particles in weighted drilling fluids.

A decanting centrifuge is so named because it decants or removes free liquid from separated solids. It consists of a conveying screw inside a rotating bowl By exerting increased G-force on the drilling fluid, the particles are accelerated and settle on the outside of the bowl The free liquid pool is removed and the solids are pushed away and discharged from the bowl.

Decanting Centrifuge

Decanter centrifuge are used to process unweighted and weighted, water-based and oil-based drilling fluids (muds). Mechanical energy is utilized to increase the gravitational force exerted on solids that are present in the mud system.oilfield Decanting Centrifuge are able to apply over 3,000 G-forces on the liquid/solids mixture, which separates the heavier solids from the lighter solids. Additionally, high G-forces separate fine solids from liquid.
