Rheological parameters and the physical meaning of the plastic flow patterns

① static shear strength (τs)

Start drilling fluid flow required minimum shear stress , which is a continuous measure of the strength of the space frame structure of the drilling fluid formed in the stationary unit area . Plastic viscosity of the drilling fluid solid content , shape and degree of dispersion of solid particles , the surface lubricity and viscosity of the liquid itself, and other factors . It is directly related to the drilling fluid suspension capabilities, its value should be moderate. If the viscosity is too high the plastic system , reducing the time needed , the solids  control equipment is generally used to reduce the solid phase solid phase content , increase inhibitory system, reduce the activity of the solid phase dispersion ; if urgent need to reduce the dilution water can be added . If you want to increase the viscosity of the system can be added to the plastic polymer organic polymer thickener or clay.

Kem-Tron Tango 500 Mud Recycling System

Kem-Tron mud recycling system is one of the popular mud system in the world . Many users choose Kem-Tron for solutions , here I will introduce one of Kem-Tron mud recycling system for you .
This unit is capable of achieving a cut point of 25 microns. The TANGO 500T has one (1) dual-deck shaker with a total screen surface area of 56 ft2 with six (6) 5” hydrocyclone desilters. The TANGO 500T carries a total tank volume of 3,100 gallons between two (2) compartments along with three (3) 250-Series centrifugal pumps with a respective horsepower rating of 25hp, 20hp, and 20hp. All the pumps are located in the pump house to protect from the elements.
Characteristics of Kem-Tron 500 mud recycling system

Firstly , this mud recycling system is a mobile unit which have wheel at one side of this unit for easy moving . Secondly , it’s a combination of recycling mud part and mixing mud part . Thirdly , This recycling unit don’t have mud agitator which don’t have a good agitate fuction . Forthly , It’s mainly focused on recycling mud not mixing which enabled this system flexible and exquisite.Lastly , the price for this recycling unit is costly .

Brandt Shale Shaker VS Brightway Shale shaker

Shale shakers separate solids from liquids by utilizing a vibrating basket, which is outfitted with specially designed and sized screens. Shakers are considered the most important tool for removing drilled solids.
The well-known Brandt shale shaker is produced by National Oilwell Varco, which began to provide the solids control equipment from year 1974.
